Seats to be filled by Telangana State Council of Higher Education under Non-Farmers quota

Course:-B.Tech.(Food Technology)
- College of Food Science &Technology, Rudur, Nizamabad Dt, Telangana State.
- Seats=24
- College of Food Science & Technology, Bapatla, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh State.
- Seats=13
- College of Food Science & Technology, Pulivendula, Kadapa Dt, Andhra Pradesh State.
- Seats=06
The seats in the M.P.C. stream coursesof PJTSAU under Non-Farmers quotaviz.,
B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech.(Food Technology) shall be filled up based on the Ranks obtained in the Telangana EAMCET-2018
along with other engineering courses through single window system of Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The hostel facility to the selected candidates shall be provided subject to availability.
The candidates who wish to seek admission into the above M.P.C. stream courses of PJTSAU are informed to attend the counseling conducted by the Convener of EAMCET Telangana State.
Note:
- The seats in the MPC Stream courses of PJTSAU under Farmers Quota shall be filled up by the University. The admission notification will be issued shortly. Candidates may visit the University website for regular updates www.pjtsau.ac.in.

Course:- a 3 years “Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology (DHTT)” course common to all IIHTs. The subject of “Apparel & Garment Making Technology (AGMT)” will be taught in the final year in addition to the regular subjects.
Age & Selection:-
Selection is made as per the DCH norms i.e SSC qualification, the age of candidate should be between 15 and 23 years as on July 1st of the particular academic year. For SC/ST candidate age should be between 15 and 25 years, eligibility criteria which are common for all 10 Institutes. A total number of 62 candidates are selected in terms of counselling, basing on the merit of marks every year and allot the seats as per the following quota of the states concerned.

IIHT, Salem : 11 - Tamilnadu
KHTI, Gadag : 4 - Karnataka

Andhra Pradesh State Government reservation Policy will be observed while counselling and filling the seats. Admission into IIHT, Venkatagiri:- This Institute is admitting 60 candidates every year as per the following quota of seats.
Andhra Pradesh : 47
Tamil Nadu : 4
Kerala : 3
Karnataka : 3
Maharashtra : 2
Pondicherry : 1

Stipend will also be paid @ Rs.1000/-,1100/-,1200/- respectively during the three (3) years.
The application for admission into DHTT course can be downloaded and the filled in application may be forwarded to this office along with a State Bank of India (SBI) Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.100/- (Application Cost) drawn in favour of “The Principal, SPKM IIHT, Venkatagiri”, payable at Venkatagiri before the last date ie. June 20th of every year.
