ICICIdirect Centre for Financial Learning (ICFL) is an initiative of ICICI Securities Ltd. set up with an objective of simplifying financial knowledge and increasing financial literacy amongst prospective or experienced investors & knowledge seekers. ICFL training programmes are categorized under Investment Education Programmes and Professional Certification & Development Programmes. The repository of domain knowledge includes host of in-house developed seminars, workshops, certifications and training programmes leading to reputed certifications. Programme Objective:

The Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Finance (PGCPF) provides customize, comprehensive & rigorous program to prepare future banking and finance professionals. This program not only provides participants the knowledge of operational aspects of banking & finance but also helps in building managerial and technical skills.

The programme offers a unique blend of Global Prospective in Banking & Finance with hands on experience in practical aspects of the financial markets. Besides that, the Programme supplements with the background of Indian economic environment and also offers the exposure to other functional areas of management.

This Programme is a judicious mix of quantitative techniques and qualitative perspectives of financial management. It is designed to benefit executives who have recently taken on, or are being groomed to take on, significant managerial responsibilities in future. The Programme would draw upon the work experience of such executives and provide additional knowledge and skills, to make them effective managers.

Eligibility:

Graduate / Post Graduate from Universities recognized by Association of Indian Universities with minimum 50% marks in either graduation or post-graduation (or its equivalent) with at least two years of work experience.

Or

Fresher with professional qualification like CA/ICWA/CS/CFA/CFP are also eligible to apply for the programme.

Admission Procedure:

    The completed application forms should be accompanied by a Demand Draft (DD)/Banker’s Cheque (BC) drawn in favour of “Indian Institute of Management Indore”, payable at Indore for Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only).     Application Screening: Upon submission of the completed application form, the application will be screened based on the candidate’s academic performance and relevant work experience.
     Personal Interview: Short-listed candidates will be invited for a personal interview. Not all candidates are called for personal interview. The personal interview will be conducted through video conferencing at different study centers across India.
    Selection: The selection to the programme is based on performance in Personal Interview, the candidate’s academic performance and relevant work experience.

Programme Design:

This Programme consists of around 200 hours of   courses delivery using information technology platform.  The Programme is spread over twelve months duration.  In order to supplement, the learning through the technology platform, there will also be on-campus orientation module of five days duration.  Courses to be offered in this Programme are as follows:

Note: This is an indicative list of courses. Institute may change the curriculum from time to time.

The duration of the programme will be twelve months.

Programme Fee:

The Programme fee is Rs. 275000 /- (Two lakhs seventy five thousand only) plus service tax as applicable. All payments to be made in favour of Indian Institute of Management Indore.

A commitment fee of INR 10000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) plus service tax as applicable is to be paid at the time of acceptance of offer of admission, which will be adjusted against the fee paid at the time of registration. The commitment fee is non-refundable. Once commitment fee is paid, balance fee has to be paid in full during registration. It can be paid by demand draft.

Programme Delivery:

Courses will be delivered through on-line mode using appropriate technology platform.  Lectures will be delivered through broadband based technology involving two-way audio and video communication. Classes will be held in the evenings and weekends. Participants   will be provided reading materials etc. for each course.  They may also interact with the concerned faculty through e-mails/ chat mode.

Certification:

The ‘Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Finance’ will be awarded to the participants on successful completion of the Programme.
